Jeremiah Tilmon
Jeremiah Tilmon was born on November 25, 1998, in East St. Louis, Illinois. His parents are April Lewis and Jeremiah Tilmon Sr. He attended East St. Louis High School and La Lumiere School in La Porte, Indiana. His career plan is to enter his family’s real estate investment business. He is listed at 6 ft 10 in (2.08 m) and 260 lb (118 kg) and plays the center position.
Tilmon played college basketball for the University of Missouri from 2017 to 2021. During his freshman year (2017-18), he played in 33 games, starting all of them, averaging 8.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. He shot 56.4% from the field and 52.6% from the free-throw line. In his sophomore season (2018-19), Tilmon played in 31 games, starting 30. He averaged 10.1 points and 5.9 rebounds, accumulating 314 total points, 183 rebounds, 25 blocks (team-best), and 17 steals in 24.2 minutes per game. His shooting percentages were 54.5% from the field and 68.1% from the free-throw line. As a junior (2019-20), he played in 17 games, starting 11, averaging 8.2 points and 4.4 rebounds. His field goal percentage was 58.9% and his free-throw percentage was 62.7%. In his senior year (2020-21), Tilmon averaged 12.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game. On January 30, 2021, he recorded a career-high 33 points and 11 rebounds in a 102-98 overtime win over TCU. He was named to the Second Team All-SEC for his performance. He shot 61.4% from the field and 52.6% from the free-throw line during this season.
Jeremiah Tilmon declared for the 2020 NBA Draft but ultimately returned to Missouri for his senior season. He went undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft. He has been a free agent since then, with his playing career listed as 2021–present.
