Javon Unique Small, born on December 19, 2002, in South Bend, Indiana, USA, is a professional basketball player who currently plays as a point guard for the Memphis Grizzlies of the NBA. He started 31 games as a point guard, averaging 15.1 points and 4.1 assists in 33.0 minutes per game. His last collegiate season (2024-25) was with the West Virginia Mountaineers, where he continued to impress, scoring 20 or more points in 14 games and averaging 18.6 points per game. He graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree on May 18, 2025. Javon Small declared for the 2025 NBA draft on March 30, 2025, and was invited to the 2025 NBA draft combine on May 2. He was selected by the Memphis Grizzlies with the 48th overall pick in the second round of the 2025 NBA draft. On July 10, 2025, the Memphis Grizzlies announced that they had signed him to a two-way contract, marking the beginning of his professional career from 2025 to the present.
