Jackson Rowe
Jackson Rowe is a Canadian professional basketball player, primarily playing as a Forward. Born in Toronto, Canada, on January 4, 1997, he is 201 centimeters tall (6’7″) and weighs approximately 95 kilograms (209 lbs). His career has been marked by a successful transition from standout collegiate basketball to the international professional scene and, more recently, to the NBA G League orbit.
Standout Collegiate Career (Cal State Fullerton)
Jackson Rowe spent his collegiate career at California State University, Fullerton, where he became one of the most decorated players in program history. His main accolades include Big West Conference Freshman of the Year in 2017 and honorable mention and Second Team All-Big West in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
He finished his tenure with historical marks for the Titans, becoming the 26th player to reach the 1,000-career point mark and finishing with 1,340 points (the 10th best mark in school history). Rowe is also second in Fullerton history in rebounds (811) and blocks (113). He is only one of two players in program history to record over 1,000 points, 660 rebounds, 160 assists, 80 blocks, and 60 steals in his career.
Start of Professional Career and International Experience
Despite not being selected in the 2020 NBA Draft, Rowe began his professional journey in Europe. His first contract was signed in 2020 with Chorale Roanne of the Betclic Elite in France.
The following season, 2021-2022, he excelled with the Norrköping Dolphins of the Swedish Basketball League, where he played a fundamental role. In 28 games, he averaged 16.5 points and 7.2 rebounds, contributing to the team’s championship win.
After Sweden, Rowe signed with medi Bayreuth in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) of Germany for the 2022-2023 season, recording averages of 10.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 31 games.
Performance in the Canadian League and NBA G League
Rowe also maintained a strong presence in his home country, playing in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) for the Ottawa BlackJacks in two stints (2022 and 2023). In his second stint, he significantly increased his production, averaging 15.3 points and 6.6 rebounds, which earned him a spot on the CEBL All-Canadian Team.
In October 2023, Rowe joined the Santa Cruz Warriors, an affiliate of the Golden State Warriors in the NBA G League, after a successful tryout. In the 2023-2024 season, he solidified his role in the developmental league, playing 49 games and contributing averages of 12.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game. His performance in the G League keeps him in contention for an NBA opportunity, demonstrating his versatility and ability to adapt to different leagues around the world. In 2024, he also returned to the CEBL, playing for the Scarborough Shooting Stars.
