Garrison Mathews
Garrison Mathews, American professional basketball player, was born on October 24, 1996, in Memphis, Tennessee. Standing 6’5″ tall and weighing 215 lbs, he plays as a shooting guard. Mathews attended Lipscomb University from 2015 to 2019, where he played for the Bisons men’s basketball team. During his college career, he became one of the most prolific scorers in program history. In his senior season (2018-2019), he averaged 20.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game, leading Lipscomb to the NIT championship game, where they ultimately lost to Texas. He finished his college career as Lipscomb’s all-time leading scorer in the Division I era with 2,055 points. He was also a three-time First-Team All-Atlantic Sun selection and was named the Atlantic Sun Player of the Year in 2019. After going undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft, Mathews signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Washington Wizards.
