Gabe McGlothan
Gabe McGlothan, an American professional basketball player, was born on March 3, 1999, in Gilbert, Arizona, USA. Standing at 2.01 m (6 ft 7 in) and weighing 107 kg (235 lb), he plays as a power forward. His parents are Kevin McGlothan and Janelle Danley, and he has one brother. Academically, McGlothan pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. McGlothan’s collegiate basketball journey began at Southeast Missouri State, where he played for one season from 2018-2019. Following this, he transferred to Grand Canyon University, playing for four years from 2019-2024. During his time at Grand Canyon, he stood out with various honors, including being named First-team All-WAC in 2024 and Second-team All-WAC in 2023. In his final year (2023-24), he averaged 12.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. At Basha High School in Chandler, Arizona, he also had a decorated career, being named the Premier Region Player of the Year and an all-state honoree for a state champion Class 6A team that went 30-1 in 2016-17. He averaged 14.2 points and 9.4 rebounds in 2016-17 and 11.1 points and 8.2 rebounds in 2015-16, with his team winning the state title at GCU Arena in 2017. In the 2024 NBA draft, Gabe McGlothan went undrafted. However, his professional career began soon after. He joined the Denver Nuggets for the 2024 NBA Summer League. On July 31, 2024, he signed with the Denver Nuggets, though he was later waived on October 8, 2024. Subsequently, on October 28, 2024, McGlothan joined the Grand Rapids Gold for the 2024-2025 season. His most recent affiliation was with the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Summer League.
