Donovan Williams

Donovan Kennedy Williams was born on September 6, 2001, in Houston, Texas, USA. He is an American professional basketball player, currently a free agent. Williams is 1.98 m (6 ft 6 in) tall and weighs 86 kg (190 lb), and plays as a point guard-shooting guard. Williams attended Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas, where he grew up. He was a highly rated prospect, entering college as a four-star recruit and ranked 61st overall in the country by Rivals. During his high school career, his team won consecutive district championships, and he was named the district MVP. For his college career, Williams initially played for the Texas Longhorns from 2019 to 2021. In his sophomore year at Texas, he appeared in 15 games, averaging 10.1 minutes per game. He averaged 3.3 points and 1.1 rebounds per game, scoring a career-high 11 points against Oklahoma. He was also selected to the 2021 Academic All-Big 12 Second Team. After his time at Texas, Williams transferred to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) for his junior year, playing for the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels during the 2021-2022 season. After his college career, Donovan Williams went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft. On October 19, 2022, he signed a contract with the Long Island Nets. He is currently a free agent, continuing his professional basketball career since 2022.
