De’Aaron Fox
De’Aaron Martez Fox (born December 20, 1997) is an American basketball player who currently plays as a point guard for the San Antonio Spurs in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Fox began his college career playing for the Kentucky Wildcats in the 2016-2017 season, where he excelled and was named to the First Team All-SEC, SEC All-Freshman Team, and SEC Tournament MVP in 2017. He was also a McDonald’s All-American in 2016. Fox was selected as the fifth overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings, where he played from 2017 to 2025. During his time with the Kings, he established himself as a franchise player. He had a standout season in 2023, being selected for his first All-Star Game, for the All-NBA Third Team, and was named the NBA Clutch Player of the Year. He led the Kings to their first playoff appearance since 2006. In 2024, he also led the league in steals. Since 2025, De’Aaron Fox plays for the San Antonio Spurs. He is known for his exceptional speed and point guard skills. With a height of 1.91 m (6 ft 3 in) and weighing 84 kg (185 lb), he plays the point guard position and wears jersey number 4. His awards and honors include: NBA Clutch Player of the Year (2023), NBA All-Star (2023), All-NBA Third Team (2023), and NBA steals leader (2024).
