Brooks Barnhizer
Brooks Barnhizer was born on March 2, 2002, in Lafayette, Indiana, USA. He is an American professional basketball player, currently playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the National Basketball Association (NBA) on a two-way contract, which also includes playing for the Oklahoma City Blue in the NBA G League. He is 1.98 m (6 feet 6 inches) tall and weighs 104 kg (230 lb), and plays as a shooting guard. Barnhizer’s collegiate career was with the Northwestern Wildcats from 2021 to 2025. In his junior season (2023–24), he became a starter, appearing in all 34 games and averaging 14.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.8 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game. His senior season (2024–25) saw further improvements, with him averaging 17.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game in 17 games played. Throughout his collegiate career at Northwestern, he played a total of 96 games. In the 2025 NBA Draft, Brooks Barnhizer was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder as the 44th overall pick in the second round (14th pick of the second round). His professional career began in 2025 with the Oklahoma City Thunder. As a rookie, he is currently on a two-way contract, allowing him to play for both the Thunder and their G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue.
