Augustas MarĨiulionis
Augustas Marčiulionis, a Lithuanian basketball player, was born on March 21, 2002, in Vilnius, Lithuania. Standing 1.93 m (6 ft 4 in) tall and weighing 91 kg (200 lb), he primarily plays as a point guard. Marčiulionis’ early career saw him play for Perlas Vilnius from 2018 to 2020 and for Rytas Vilnius from 2020 to 2021, and continuing from 2018 to the present. His collegiate career took him to Saint Mary’s, where he played from 2021 to 2025. During his time at Saint Mary’s, he consistently improved his performance across all statistical categories. In his freshman year (2021-22), he played 34 games, starting 13, averaging 15.1 minutes, 3.1 points, 1.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game, with a field goal percentage of 0.304, a three-point percentage of 0.183, and a free throw percentage of 0.839. His sophomore season (2022-23) saw him play 35 games, starting 9, averaging 15.5 minutes, 5.9 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists. His shooting percentages also improved to 0.414 from the field, 0.250 from beyond the arc, and 0.727 from the free-throw line. Marčiulionis’ junior year (2023-24) marked a significant jump in his collegiate career. He played 34 games, starting all of them, averaging 33.1 minutes, 12.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists. His shooting percentages continued to climb, reaching 0.438 from the field, 0.343 from beyond the arc, and 0.763 from the free-throw line. In his final season (2024-25), he played 35 games, all as a starter, averaging 34.8 minutes, 14.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists. He maintained strong shooting percentages with 0.446 from the field, 0.347 from beyond the arc, and 0.793 from the free-throw line. Despite his strong collegiate performance, Augustas Marčiulionis was not drafted in the 2025 NBA draft. He is currently a free agent. He has also represented Lithuania in men’s basketball, including an appearance in Montenegro in 2022.
