2025 NBA Playoffs : Updated Odds for Play-in and Round 1 matchups

The NBA Play-In Tournament kicks off this Tuesday, April 15, officially launching the NBA postseason — the moment everyone has been eagerly waiting for. The first round of the NBA Playoffs will begin on Saturday, April 19, with some matchups already set following the conclusion of the regular season.

These early games are the first steps toward the NBA Finals, which will take place in mid-June to determine the successor to the Boston Celtics, who won the title in 2024.

For the 2025 NBA Play-In Tournament, here are the scheduled matchups:

Atlanta Hawks vs. Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night
Miami Heat vs. Chicago Bulls and Dallas Mavericks vs. Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night

Four of these eight teams will advance to the final NBA Playoff bracket and face either the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, OKC Thunder, or Houston Rockets in the first round.
