Brunson leads clutch charge as Celtics falter again late
The New York Knicks put up another gritty quarter four performance that sealed their victory against the Boston Celtics. Despite a more robust performance from both the sides, the home team sealed the deal. The Celtics vs. Knicks Playoffs series is now 3-1 in favor of the latter.
The Boston Celtics started off on a strong pedal in game four, with Jayson Tatum setting the tone. He drove to the basket and also made some crucial three pointers. Celtics who were struggling to hit beyond the arc in the previous games were just doing fine on Monday.

Karl-Anthony Towns, Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges all erupted in the third quarter, providing a comeback to the New York Knicks. Boston was on the back foot once again, struggling with their beyond the arc accuracy in the Celtics vs. Knicks game.
With the balance established after the end of the third quarter, both teams upped their physical game in the last 12 minutes. The New York Knicks managed to gather a three point lead with a handful of minutes to go. That’s when the Celtics leaned heavily on three-point shots but couldn’t convert consistently.
With the massive turnovers from the visitors, Knicks led by some clutch Jalen Brunson shots took a double-digit lead in the which was their biggest in the Celtics vs. Knicks series so far. Jayson Tatum kept carrying his side throughout all the quarters, and he made a game high 42 points.
Jrue Holiday managed just 4 points, while Kristaps Porziņģis and Al Horford added 7 and 5 respectively. While on the other side, Jalen Brunson’s 39 points and 12 assists came at the right time. Towns and Mikal Bridges both scored 23 points each and the New York Knicks won the game 4 by 121-113. They have a 3-1 lead into the series.
