The first-round playoffs series between Warriors and the Rockets is tied 1-1.
The Golden State Warriors will welcome their NBA Playoff 2025 counterparts, Houston Rockets for Game 3 of the first-round series on Saturday, April 26. The seven-time champions kicked off the series with a 95-85 win to take a 1-0 lead. Stephen Curry came up with a leading performance of 31 points, and Jimmy Butler made a memorable playoffs debut for the Dubs with 25 points.
The Houston Rockets, seeded second in the standings, made a sound comeback and recorded a commanding 109-94 win to level the series 1-1. One of the biggest reasons for the loss was Butler’s injury as well as Brandin Podziemski’s illness. The former Miami Heat star suffered a hard fall late in the first quarter and never returned.
As action moves to San Francisco, the Warriors will aim to make the most of their home-court advantage. However, Butler’s injury could hinder their championship dreams. Let’s see what the injury report says about the six-time NBA All-Star as well as other players’ availability.
