The Los Angeles Clippers are flying with momentum after a thunderous win against the Denver Nuggets in their first home game of the series. With the Playoffs series at stake, the Clippers will want to close their home run with a vital win. After all, James Harden already revealed what the Clippers game plan will be for the fourth game.
James Harden suggested that the Clippers’ approach for the fourth game will be to protect home court. He also shared that his side will need to avoid being overhyped after the third game performance. The Clippers already have an advantage over the Nuggets, having won an away fixture. They now just have to carry the momentum into the fourth game and take the series away.
Especially with the form that the Nuggets are in, the Clippers will have their task reduced. Nikola Jokic has also been struggling in this series. Whereas, Kawhi Leonard has turned into his past self, taking away games from the opposition. Leonard scored 21 points in the Clippers’ 117-83 win. The battle between Jokic and Kawhi Leonard will be the one to watch.

The Colorado based franchise has again been let down by their overall starting lineup. Nikola Jokic also has struggled to take games away single-handedly this series. He managed to score another triple double last game, but his overall game has gone down, especially in the defense. Apart from Jamal Murray and Jokic, nobody has been striking for the Denver Nuggets. It is unclear how they’ll cope up with a motivated Clippers side in the fourth game.
Los Angeles Clippers
Seth Lundy is the only absentee for the Clippers in the fourth game. The Guard’s season was over in early April. Lundy has been reeling with an ankle injury that would put him out of action until the pre-season friendly games.
Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets have been dealt with fresh injury blows after Michael Porter Jr. and Russell Westbrook have both been declared as doubtful for game 4. Westbrook is dealing with a foot injury, while Michael Porter Jr is suffering from a shoulder issue. DaRon Holmes II remains out due to an Achilles injury.
The Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets have faced each other 7 times this season. The Clippers have won four, while the Nuggets have won three of them. Even in the Playoffs series, the Nuggets are trailing by 2-1.
