The Orlando Magic been a little bit of a disappointment this season as the finished with a 41-41 record. Injuries have plagued this team throughout this season, as they are missing very essential pieces in Jalen Suggs and Moritz Wagner, who will not be returning anytime soon this season. Since they were the 7th seed in the East, they had to take on the 8th seeded Atlanta Hawks in the Play-In tournament. The Magic hit the ground running ever since the opening minute of the contest, and they never looked back. While the Hawks came close to make a comeback by the end of the third quarter, they just could not take the lead. Trae Young was also ejected from the game after getting 2 technical fouls, which pretty much sealed the deal for the Magic.
The Magic looked like a much different team than a .500 regular season with team, and they dominated the Hawks in every way possible. Since the Magic won the contest, they will now face the second seeded Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. While the Celtics are the heavy favorites to win the series, the Orlando Magic’s numbers against them say otherwise. Let’s find out more.

When you take a look at the Boston Celtics’ roster compared to the Orlando Magic, one many think that the Magic would have a tough time winning against the Celtics. However, that has not been the case. In fact the Magic have the highest win percentage against the Celtics in the last 3 seasons.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have won the most games against the Boston Celtics with 4-2 record. The second place goes to the Orlando Magic who’ve beaten the Celtics 6 out of the total 10 times they’ve faced each other, which gives the Magic a win percentage of 60.0.
While the Celtics are still the favorites to win the series, there is doubt that they have struggled against the Magic, who looked like a different team in the Play-In tournament. The Magic have the size, the depth, defense, shooting, and everything they require to beat the Celtics. Even though the Magic are down bodies with Jalen Suggs and Wagner out of the lineup, they should give the Celtics quite a run for their money, even if they ultimately fall short.
The Celtics will take on the Magic on Sunday, April 20, 3:30 ET, and look forward to witnessing a great series ahead!

mma I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
