Sacramento have made a sweep over Dallas in the regular season and enters as favourites in the game.

The Sacramento Kings will host the Dallas Mavericks in a crucial matchup in the Play-in Tournament on Wednesday night. The winner of this game will face the Memphis Grizzlies, who lost to the Warriors 121-116 in the previous game. The final matchup will decide the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference and the winner will meet the OKC Thunder in the first-round playoff series.

The Kings have changed their fortune in the second half of the season. In the last ten games, they have gone 5-5 but clinched the home advantage in the Play-In Tournament after beating the Suns 109-98 in the regular-season finale.

Injuries and a mid-season trade impacted Dallas’ performance this season, but they managed to lock the Play-In spot. Mavericks have gone 4-6 in their last ten games, and they survived due to the poor run of the Phoenix Suns. Sacramento have made a sweep over Dallas in the regular season and enters as favorites in the game.

  • Malik Monk: Out

The Sacramento Kings will have a healthy roster for the do-or-die clash on Wednesday. Malik Monk (Calf) and Jake LaRavia (Thumb) will be sidelined. Monk last played on Apr. 7 against the Pistons, and LaRavia hasn’t played since Mar. 26.

  • Anthony Davis: Probable
  • Brandon Williams: Questionable
  • Olivier-Maxence Prosper: Out
  • Kyrie Irving: Out

The Dallas Mavericks have listed four players on the injury report. Anthony Davis’ status has been upgraded after being out in the previous game on Sunday. The former Lakers All-Star is cleared to play on Wednesday.

Brandon Williams (left oblique strain) is listed as questionable against the Kings. He played for only 7 minutes in the regular-season finale against the Grizzlies. Olivier-Maxence Prosper (Wrist) and Kyrie Irving (Knee) are already out for the remainder of the season.
