NBA Playoffs 2025 Odds – Who Has the Best Odds To Go All the Way in the Eastern Conference?

After the conclusion of the 2025 NBA Play-In Tournament, action will shift to the playoffs from Sunday, April 19. The first round of the playoffs will see the eight seeds clashing against each other across four best-of-seven series. The winners will advance ahead to the conference semifinals, whereas the losing team will be knocked out of the championship contention.

While the top seven seeds of both the conferences have been decided, the fight is still on for the final spot. In the Eastern Conference, the Atlanta Hawks will be up against the Miami Heat in the last Play-In Tournament game. The winner of both the sides will clinch their playoff ticket, while the losing squad will join the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery.

Since the season is approaching its end, the intensity of the games have increased significantly and the teams are putting in their best show to emerge as the favorites to win the Larry O’Brien Trophy. If we look at the odds of the teams winning the Eastern Conference Championship, teams like the Celtics and the Cavaliers are the only two teams to be in the top contention.

The reigning champions, Boston Celtics, seeded second in the standings, have the most favorable odds to be the Conference Champions, and advance to the NBA Finals. The reigning champions are 61-21 and won eight of their ten games. In the first round, the Celtics will be up against the Orlando Magic, and it is expected to be a lop-sided series. In fact, they are the second favorites to defend their championship title this year.

Teams With Best Odds to Win Eastern Conference Championship

The Cleveland Cavaliers have the odds of +180 to win the Eastern Conference Championship. While their first round rivals are yet to be decided, the Cavs are expected to move past them seamlessly, and advance a step closer to the Conference Championship.

However, per the odds, teams such as the Pistons, Heat, Magic, and Hawks won’t be able to move too ahead in the championship, and their journey to the coveted Larry O’Brien Trophy will cut short.
