OKC Thunder and Denver Nuggets are all set to take on each other in the third game of the Western Conference Semi finals’ series on Friday. Both the teams have had three wins each in this season having played 6 games including the 4 from the regular season. Whether the Nuggets can bounce back after their Game 2 blowout loss remains a key storyline.
OKC Thunder reclaimed their domination after putting up a top performance in the second game. Moreover, the contribution to the win was not from just one or two players. All the players from the starting 5 had double-digit points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander topped the scoring sheet with 34 points and 8 assists.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was a +51 tonight.

On the other side, no player from the Nuggets roster hit even the mark of 20 points. Nikola Jokic who is one of the favorites to win the MVP award this season finished with only 17 points and 8 rebounds. This remains way out of the standards that the Serbian has set in the league over the years.
The help from the bench was also missing, which is not a new story for the Denver Nuggets. Russell Westbrook did well, hitting 19 points in 17 minutes of action. However, expectations will be high going into the home court for the Nuggets. They will be out to avenge the 149-106 Wednesday loss.

Denver Nuggets
Denver Nuggets almost has a completely healthy roster. Despite back to back games with minimal rest, the Nuggets have done well to avoid major injuries and fitness concerns. DaRon Holmes II, who has been out from early this year is still dealing with his Achilles injury.
OKC Thunder
Nikola Topic is not a new name in the Nuggets vs. Thunder Injury Report. The youngster is out for more than a year and no major updates remain on his comeback timeline. Otherwise, OKC Thunder have a fully fit squad to enter the Colorado phase of the playoffs’ series.
