NBA Playoffs 2025 Detroit Pistons vs. New York Knicks Game 3 Injury Report- Key Updates on Players’ Availability for Third Playoffs Encounter

Here is the injury report for the Pistons and the Knicks ahead of their third encounter in the playoffs.

After Detroit Pistons’ fight back in the first-round series of the NBA Playoffs 2025, action is shifting to Little Caesars Arena in Detroit for Game 3 on Thursday, April 24. The first game of the series saw the New York Knicks establish an early dominance by taking down the Detroit Pistons 123-112 to lead the series 1-0.  

Jalen Brunson scored 34 points, two rebounds, and eight assists, while OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns tallied 23 points, apiece for the Knicks. Tobias Harris, on the other hand, posted 25 points and six rebounds. Cade Cunningham came up with 21 points, six rebounds, and 12 assists. Malik Beasley scored 20 points, four rebounds, and two assists. 

In Game 2, the Pistons bounced back and recorded a 100-94 win over the Knicks and leveled the series 1-1. Cade Cunningham had 33 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists while Dennis Schroder posted 20 points, two rebounds, and three assists. For New York, Jalen Brunson had 37 points, three rebounds, and seven assists while Mikal Bridges posted 19 points, and five rebounds.

Now that the series is tied 1-1, both teams will aim to secure the upper hand and take an early lead to wrap the series in their favor.

Detroit Pistons Injury

Jaden Ivey- Out ( Left Fibula Fracture) 

Isaiah Stewart- Questionable ( Right Knee Inflammation) 

The Detroit Pistons have listed Jaden Ivey out of Game 3 against the New York Knicks. Ivey has missed 49 games since he fractured his fibula in his left leg on January 1. He underwent a surgery on January 2 and has been recovering since then. While the team was optimistic for his return in the playoffs, he is still out of action and will miss Game 3 as well. 

They have also listed Isaiah Stewart questionable with right knee inflammation. Stewart missed Game 2 of the series and if he remains sidelined in the upcoming game as well, Jalen Duren would be expected to take a bigger role as a starter. 

 New York Knicks Injury

The Knicks have a clear injury report for Game 3, which means that they will come with a full force and be optimistic to take the lead to 2-1.
