NBA Finals 2025 Game 4: OKC Thunder Pull Off A Comeback to Take Down Indiana Pacers 111-104, Tie Series 2-2

The Oklahoma City Thunder bounced back from their previous defeat and secured a 111-104 win over the Indiana Pacers in NBA Finals Game 4 on Friday, June 13. With this victory, the series is now even at 2-2. Heading into the game on the back of a significant loss in the previous fixture, the Thunder had Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leading the charts with 35 points and four rebounds. Jalen Williams scored 27 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Alex Caruso dropped 20 points and three rebounds off the bench.

The Indiana Pacers, on the other hand, dominated the game right from the beginning. However, a few missed free throws snatched their chance to gain a 3-1 lead in the final minutes of the game. Pascal Siakam led their tally with 20 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while rising star Tyrese Haliburton chipped in 18 points, two rebounds and seven assists. Apiary from them. Things kept getting more intense as the game progressed towards the second quarter. After Obi Toppin committed a hard foul on Alex Caruso, and received a Flagrant 1 and technicals. In a hard-fought quarter, the Pacers outscored their guests 25-23, and headed into halftime with a 60-57 lead. Jalen Williams had 16 points, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 12 points, while Alex Caruso had 11. Siakam, on the flip side, led the Pacers with 14 points.

A few minutes down the third quarter, Indiana went up seven points after Siakam’s 3-pointer. The Pacers entered the final period with an 87-80 lead over the rivals. Toppin shone for the hosts and had 15 points and seven rebounds, while Siakam led his team with 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

In the final quarter, the Thunder went on a 10-2 run with 8:37 remaining and cut the Pacers’ lead to one point at 89-88. However, with less than three minutes remaining in the game, a bucket by SGA pushed the Thunder to a one-point lead. The Pacers failed to get back their lead, and eventually finished on the losing side of the victory line.

Action will now head to Paycom Center in Oklahoma City for Game 6 on Monday, June 16.
