The Cleveland Cavaliers continued their winning momentum and clinched their 14th straight win. With this, they became the seventh team in NBA history to record two different 14-plus game win streaks in the one season. They first team to achieve the feat is Boston Celtics, who created the record in 1986.

Meanwhile, MVP frontrunner Shai Gilgeous-Alexander came up with his third straight 40-point performance as well as his 40th 30+ point game of the year. With this, he became the second player after Michael Jordan to achieve a unique NBA feat.

A lot happened in the NBA on March 10, Monday, and here, we will go through the top highlights of those games:

Thunder 127-103 Nuggets

The Oklahoma City Thunder clinched their seventh straight win as they got the better of the Denver Nuggets 127-103. The game saw Shai Gilgeous-Alexander putting up his third straight 40-point performance. He finished the night with 40 points, eight rebounds and five assists to join the elite company of Michael Jordan in an NBA record.

On the Nuggets’ side, Michael Porter Jr. finished with 24 points and had 15 rebounds. Nikola Jokic, who is one of the top contenders for this year’s MVP, also finished with 24 points, and had 13 rebounds and nine assists. Christian Braun scored 19 points, three rebounds and two assists while Jamal Murray came up with 17 points, two rebounds and four assists.

Suns 125-116 Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks’ woeful run continued as they were taken down by the Phoenix Suns 125-116. Devin Booker posted 24 points, three rebounds and six assists for the Suns, while Kevin Durant came up with 21 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. Bradley Beal chipped in 19 points, three rebounds and six assists while Grayson Allen had 17 points, one rebound and four assists to contribute.

On the other hand, the struggling Mavericks had Naji Marshall scoring 34 points with nine rebounds and ten assists. Klay Thompson came up with 26 points, five rebounds and four assists. However, their effort fell short as the Mavericks, who are without their key players, registered their fifth straight loss.

Grizzlies 107-104 Pelicans

The Memphis Grizzlies got the better of the New Orleans Pelicans 107-104 and handed them their fourth straight loss. Ja Morant came up with a game-leading performance of 32 points, four rebounds and six assists while Desmond Bane had added 30 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.

On the other hand, Trey Murphy scored 27 points, five rebounds and two assists for the Pelicans. Karlo Matkovic came up with 13 points, eleven rebounds and one assist. Kelly Olynyk and Jordan Hawkins finished with 12 points each.

76ers 126-122 Jazz

The 76ers bounced back from their previous defeat and took down the Utah Jazz 126-122. Quentin Grimes and Lonnie Walker IV added 25 points apiece. Adem Bona added 14 points, one assist and a game-high 14 rebound. Apart from him, Jared Butler finished with 15 points and nine assists.

On the Jazz’s side, Kylie Filipowski finished with 25 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Similarly, Keyonte George came up with a 25-point performance, while contributing six rebounds and three assists. Johnny Juzang called it a night with 15 points, seven rebounds and one assist, while Kenyon Martin Jr. and Brice Sensabaugh finished with 14 points, each.

Cavaliers 112-100 Bucks

The Cleveland Cavaliers recorded their fourteenth straight win as they took down the Milwaukee Bucks 112-100. At the Cavaliers’ side, no player managed to cross the 20-point mark, yet the combined effort helped them get the better of their counterparts. Max Strus was the leading scorer with 17 points, nine rebounds and two assists, while Donovan Mitchell had 15 points, five rebounds and six assists.

On the flip side, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 30 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Damian Lillard scored 22 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Kyle Kuzma finished the night with 14 points, six rebounds and one assist.

Timberwolves 141-124 Spurs

The Minnesota Timberwolves continued their heated form and recorded their fifth straight win. The seventh-seeded Western Conference team recorded a 141-124 blowout win over the Spurs. Anthony Edwards led the charts with 25 points, three rebounds and three assists for the Timberwolves. Naz Reid added 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Donte DiVincenzo came up with 17 points, two rebounds and three assists.

On the flip side, De’Aaron Fox added 22 points, two rebounds and three assists for the Spurs, while Stephon Castle scored 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Harrison Barnes scored 15 points, two rebounds and one assist.

Pistons 119-112 Trail Blazers

The Detroit Pistons snapped their two-game losing streak by taking down the Portland Trail Blazers 119-112. Cade Cunningham came up with 28 points, four rebounds and five assists for the Pistons, while Tobias Harris finished with 20 points, nine rebounds and two assists. Jalen Duren scored 18 points, 12 rebounds and had two assists.

On the other hand, Anfernee Simons scored 34 points, two rebounds and one assist. Jerami Grant had 25 points, two rebounds and one assist for the Trail Blazers. Shaedon Sharpe had 12 points, while Scoot Henderson finished the night with 15 points, five rebounds and two assists.

Clippers 111-110 Kings

The Los Angeles Clippers recorded their third straight win as they defeated the Sacramento Kings in a close 111-110 contest. James Harden once again took the charge and led his team with 29 points, nine rebounds and eleven assists. Ivica Zubac scored 22 points, 14 rebounds and two assists, while Kawhi Leonard had 17 points, four rebounds and two assists. In addition, Derrick Jones Jr. also came up with 17 points and three rebounds for the side.

The Kings, who were coming on the back of a big 127-109 win over the Spurs, had DeMar DeRozan scoring 31 points, seven rebounds and ten assists. Zach LaVine scored 30 points, seven rebounds and two assists, while Keegan Murray finished with 15 points, six rebounds and two assists.
