Kevin Durant came up with a fitting reply to Skip Bayless.

Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant hit back at sports columnist and commentator Skip Bayless after the latter’s remarks for Durant. Bayless’ comments came after Suns recorded a 126-115 win against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, March 9.

The game saw Durant finishing with 21 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. Following the win, Bayless made some serious remarks about Durant and said that he looks semi-retired. Not only this, but he also went on to say that Durant appears to look like he is about to wind down his career.

“The more I watch him at age 36, the more he looks mentally semi-retired to me. He is participating in a documentary that’s being made about his life and times. And it just feels to me like he is winding down his basketball (career),” said Bayless on The Skip Bayless Show.

Needless to say, the 15-time All-Star, who has never shied away from expressing his opinion, went all guns blazing at Bayless. He reposted the clip on his X account and wrote, “F**k it, We’re both washed, it was a a great run @RealSkipBayless (Skip Bayless).

Bayless also pointed out the Suns’ struggles and mentioned that despite starting off the season on a 8-1 record, they have constantly gone down. The Suns are among the lower-placed Western Conference teams, with a tally of 30-34.
