Phoenix Suns superstar, Kevin Durant is continuing the great legacy in the NBA and the two-time NBA Championship winner adds another milestone in his illustrious career. Kevin Durant reached the 30000-point mark on Tuesday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Durant was 26 points away from the milestone and he achieved the glory in front of the home crowd. Memphis’ Brandon Clarke made a shooting foul with 1:11 left in the third quarter and Kevin Durant made two straight free throws to reach 30,000 points.

Meanwhile, it was KD’s first appearance after missing the previous three games for the Suns. Durant managed only two points in the first quarter when the Memphis Grizzlies’ sharp shooting outscored the Phoenix Suns 36-26 in the opening quarter. Kevin Durant scored 17 points in the second quarter to close the gap with his 30,000-point mark.
Kevin Durant finished with 34 points, three rebounds and three assists. He will now target to surpass Wilt Chamberlain and Dirk Nowitzki in the list. He is also the fastest player to reach 30K career points since Michael Jordan.

Durant will also appear for the 15th time in the 2025 NBA All-Star game. He has tallied at least 25 points in 25 of his 40 games this season. Despite a record-breaking night, the veteran star couldn’t prevail the 119-112 defeat against the Grizzlies.
