Los Angeles recorded their biggest win of the season as they took down the Wizards 134-96 on Jan. 30. The game saw icon LeBron James finishing with 24 points and led the side to their 27th win in 2024-25.

Anthony Edwards, on the other hand, led the Timberwolves 138-113 win over the Utah Jazz with his 36 points, six rebounds and 11 assists. An action-filled Thursday night saw 2025 All-Star reserves Darius Garland and Evan Mobley scoring 26 and 16 points, respectively, and so much more.

Let us go through the highlights of NBA games that took place on NBA courts across five venues:

Cavaliers 137-115 Hawks

The Eastern Conference leaders Cleveland Cavaliers recorded a big 137-115 win over the Atlanta Hawks in the first game of the night. Darius Garland and Evan Mobley, who made it to the All-Star reserves, finished with 26 and 16 points, respectively.

The Cavaliers are at 39-9 and have the best home record in the league at 23-3. On the other hand, Hawks rookie Zaccharie Risacher scored 30 points while De’Andre Hunter finished the night with 25 points. However, all of it went into vain as the Hawks recorded their seventh straight loss.

In the next game, the Cavaliers will clash against Dallas while the Hawks lock horns with Detroit.

Lakers 134-96 Wizards

The Los Angeles Lakers recorded their biggest win of the season as they dismantled the Washington Wizards 134-96 at Capital One Arena. James led the charts with 24 points, three rebounds and 11 assists while Rui Hachimura ended the night with 22 points and four rebounds. Rookie Bronny James stepped in during the fourth quarter and finished with five points.

On the Wizards’ side, Jordan Poole scored 19 points while Kyle Kuzma scored 13 points. In the next game, the Lakers will clash against the Knicks on Saturday while the Wizards meet Timberwolves.

Timberwolves 138-113 Jazz

Anthony Edwards led the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 138-113 win over the Utah Jazz with his 36 points, six rebounds and 11 assists. His 16 points came in the third quarter which helped the side record their fifth straight win.

On the other hand, Keynote George finished the night with 23 games, while Collin Sexton had 19 points. John Collins and Jordan Clarkson both scored 16 points each, which didn’t help the side and the Jazz recorded their eighth consecutive loss.

In the next game, the Timberwolves will clash against Washington while the Jazz will host Orlando.

Grizzlies 120-119 Rockets

The Memphis Grizzlies got the better of Houston Rockets in a close-contested 120-119 game. The game saw Desmond Bane scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds while Jaren Jackson Jr. scoring 21 points. The Grizzlies who recorded six wins in their seven games had Luke Kennard scoring 21 points while Santi Aldama finishing with 15 points.

For the Rockets, Jalen Green added 25 points while Dillon Brooks scored 22 points.

In the next game, the Rockets will clash against Brooklyn and the Grizzlies will be up against Milwaukee.

Trail Blazers 119-90 Magic

Portland Trail Blazers recorded their sixth win in seven games as they edged over the Orlando Magic 119-90. The night saw Scoot Henderson scoring 23 points and adding seven assists and five rebounds. On the other hand, Shaedon Sharpe scored 23 points and Deandre Ayton added 22 points.

For Orlando, Franz Wagner scored 24 points while Paolo Banchero scored 21 points.

The Magic will be up against Utah on Saturday while the Trail Blazers clash against Phoenix on Saturday and Monday.
