The Cleveland Cavaliers once again proved why they deserve to be on the top in the NBA! The Cavaliers had a record-hitting night as they clashed against the Mavericks and recorded a blowout 144-101 win, marking their 40th win of the season.

On the other hand, the Memphis Grizzlies put up 132 points against the Bucks even when they were without Ja Morant. The Grizzlies recorded a big 132-119 win over their counterparts to reach the tally of 33-16 on Sunday, Feb. 2.

Here we will go through the top highlights of all NBA games that took place across courts on Sunday night.

Pistons 127-119 Bulls

Cade Cummingham led the Detroit Pistons with 22 points, while adding three rebounds and 15 assists to defeat the Chicago Bulls 127-119. Malik Beasley added 19 points, with two rebounds and five assists whereas Jalen Duren had 21 points, 12 rebounds and four assists to chip in.

On the Bulls’ side, Coby White added 22 points, three rebounds and three assists while Josh Giddey and Nikola Vucevic came with 20 points, each. Vucevic recorded a triple double with ten rebounds and ten assists.

In the next game, the Pistons will host the Hawks on Monday, while the Bulls will host the Miami Heat on Tuesday.

Raptors 115-108 Clippers

RJ Barrett scored 20 points with six rebounds and seven assists to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 115-108 win over the LA Clippers. Jakob Poeltl added 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Raptors recorded their eighth win in the last 10 games, and the first win against the Lakers in the last five games.

The night saw James Harden finishing with 25 points while Ivica Zubac coming up with 18 points for the Clippers. On the other hand, Kevin Porter Jr. added 17 points while Kawhi Leonard came up with 14.

In the next game, the Clippers will clash against the Lakers while the Raptors will be up against the New York Knicks.

Cavaliers 144-101 Mavericks

It was a disappointing night for the Mavericks as hours after the side traded star Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers, they slumped to the Cavaliers 144-101. The Cavaliers set a new franchise record with 91 points in the first half to record a blowout win over the Mavs.

The night saw Darius Garland added 17 points and 10 assists to help the side improve the league’s best record to 40-9. They set another record of 26 three-pointers, riding on Sam Merrill’s nine 3s. Moreover, the NBA-best also set the franchise record of largest first-half lead (45).

The Mavericks will now be up against the 76ers on Tuesday, while the Cavs will host the defending champions Boston Celtics.

Celtics 118-110 76ers

Jayson Tatum recorded 35 points with seven rebounds and 11 assists while Jaylen Brown came up with 21 points, 10 rebounds and six assists to help the defending champions Boston Celtics record a 118-110 win over the 76ers.

Kristaps Porzingis had 18 points to contribute while Derrick White chipped in 17 points with one rebound and nine assists.

For the 76ers, Tyrese Maxet added 34 points with three rebounds and six assists while Guerschon Yabusele scored 21 points and six rebounds. The Celtics will be up against the Cavaliers while the 76ers will host Dallas on Tuesday.

Grizzlies 132-119 Bucks

The Memphis Grizzlies took down the Milwaukee Bucks 132-119 as Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 37 points while adding seven three-pointers.

Apart from him Desmond Bane added 22 points, nine rebounds and three assists, while Santi Aldama scored 23 points with eight rebounds and three assists.

For the Bucks, star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 30 points with 11 rebounds and seven assists. It was followed by Khris Middleton’s 20 points with two rebounds and four assists. Brook Lopez and Damian Lillard both scored 15 points each for the Bucks.

This was the Bucks’ seventh straight win to the Grizzlies, and eighth in the last nine meetings.

In the next match, the Bucks will visit Oklahoma City Thunder while the Grizzlies will be against the San Antonio Spurs at home.
