NBA Best Props of the Day for Thursday, December 4

Garima Ranawat

Thursday’s five-game NBA slate offers prime prop values to bettors right from the first game between the Philadelphia 76ers and Golden State Warriors to the last between Minnesota Timberwolves and the New Orleans Pelicans. As the season is proceeding and the month of December is heating up, bettors should keep their eyes open and focus on stars in favorable matchups amid rising pace and injury woes. Here, we present three picks, driven by data, stats and latest performances justifying why it is safe.

NBA Best Props of the Day

Neemias Queta O 9.5 Rebounds vs Washington Wizards: -136

Neemias Queta leads the Boston Celtics in rebounding and blocks at an average of 8.4 rpg and 1.3 bpg this NBA season. In the Celtics’ last game against the New York Knicks, Queta was restricted to just six rebounds, but in the previous game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he came up with 18 rebounds. In fact this was his second 10+ rebound game in the last five matchups. Though Queta has been quite inconsistent, he is likely to grab over 10 rebounds on Thursday since the Celtics have a significantly better offensive rate than the Wizards.

Anthony Edwards O 29.5 Points vs New Orleans Pelicans: -108

Anthony Edwards has been in his red-hot form ever since the beginning of the season. He is leading the T’Wolves in scoring with an average of 29.8 points as well as stealing 1.2 steals per game. Apart from that, he is contributing 4.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists through 17 games he has played thus far this season. Edwards is shooting 49.4% from the field and 41.3% from the three-point range. In the Wolves’ last game against the New Orleans Pelicans, he dropped a stunning 44-point game with 53.3% shooting from the field and 46.2% from the three-point range. In fact, he is on a six 30-point game streak.

Both Wolves and Ant Man are unstoppable, and the Pelicans currently have one of the worst defensive rates in the league. These stats indicate that the star guard could drop another 30 point game on Thursday.

Michael Porter Jr. O 26.5 Points vs Utah Jazz:+100

Michael Porter Jr. is leading the Brooklyn Nets with an average of 24.9 points in scoring as well as 7.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists through 17 games he has played this season. He is shooting 48.7% from the field and 38.3% from the deep. In the recent win over the Chicago Bulls, Porter Jr, dropped 33 points, ten rebounds, five assists while shooting 10-of-20 from the field and 5-of-12 from the three-point range. In fact, this was his second consecutive 30-point game and third in the last five games.

Considering that the Nets have homecourt advantage over the Jazz and the fact that there isn’t much difference between their defensive rate, Michael Porter Jr. is likely to drop over 27 points on Thursday.
