The NBA recently announced the starters and coach for the 2025 All-Star Game, which will take place from February 14-16 at Chase Center in San Francisco. Among the Western Conference starters are Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Los Angeles Lakers legend LeBron James, Golden State’s Stephen Curry, Phoenix’s Kevin Durant, and Denver’s Nikola Jokic.
Gilgeous-Alexander, who is currently leading the MVP race, is making his third All-Star appearance. Meanwhile, LeBron James is set to make his 21st All-Star Game.
On the Eastern Conference side, Boston’s Jayson Tatum and Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo were named starters. Along with them, Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell, New York’s Jalen Brunson, and Minnesota’s Karl-Anthony Towns round out the final selections.

Since 2018, the players on the winning team now earn $100,000 each. Meanwhile the players on the losing team earn $25,000. Apart from the participating money, a few players also have it in their contracts as a bonus if they make it to the All-star game. This year, Kevin Durant has earned a $1.3M bonus for being selected to the All-Star game.

The NBA Slam Dunk Contest winner gets a $105,000 prize. The runner-up receives $50,000, while the third and fourth-place finishers are awarded $20,000 each.
As for the 3-point contest, the winner takes home a $50,000 cash prize. The second place gets $35,000, third place earns $25,000, and the next three finishers receive $10,000.

The Rising Stars Challenge which features the league’s top young talent gives $25,000 to each player on the winning team. Meanwhile, the players on the losing team get $10,000 each.
