Clay court action returns to La Caja Magica.

The 2025 Mutua Madrid Open is set to take place between 22 April and 4 May 2025 in Madrid, Spain. The competition is held every year at the La Caja Magica, also known as the Manzanares Park Tennis Center.

The Madrid Open is an outdoor clay court tennis event. It is worth 1000 points on both men’s and women’s circuits, making it one of the biggest non-Grand Slam events of the year. The 2025 event will be the 23rd edition of the tournament on the men’s circuit, and the 16th on the WTA Tour. The draw comprises 96 players in singles categories and 32 pairs in doubles.

Andrey Rublev is the defending champion at the 2025 Mutua Madrid Masters. He defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime 4-6 7-5 7-5 to win the crown in 2024. Meanwhile, Iga Swiatek beat Aryna Sabalenka 7-5 4-6 7-6(7) to win the women’s singles trophy. The 2024 Madrid Open was widely lauded as the tournament with the best tour-level finals in recent times.
