Andreeva has been on a tear this season. The 18-year-old kicked off the year with a semifinal in Brisbane, followed by a fourth-round run in Melbourne. She went on to win back-to-back titles in Dubai and Indian Wells, stunning Clara Tauson and Aryna Sabalenka, respectively. Since then, she’s made quarterfinals in Madrid, Rome, Roland Garros, Bad Homburg, and Wimbledon. In the latter, she fell to Belinda Bencic in straight sets. In 47 matches this year, Andreeva has fired 155 aces, winning 68.9% of first-serve points and 45.5% of return points, and converting 51.6% of break points.

Andreescu, after missing the first three months due to illness, injuries, and surgery, has slowly found her rhythm. She claimed a doubles title in Catalonia, reached the fourth round in Rome (beating Elena Rybakina), and made the quarters at Libema. Across 11 matches, she’s hit 30 aces, winning 64.5% of first-serve points and 41.9% on returns, and converting 50% of break points.
