Mirra gets a good win to start her run in Paris.
Last year, she reached the semifinals as a 17 year old.
Hard to believe how much she’s grown within that short time frame.

Since her US Open loss to Kruger last year, Mirra Andreeva has become a better player specially on clay court. The 18-year-old won two WTA titles this year and earned place in the top-10. Andreeva has beaten top players like Iga Swiątek and Aryna Sabalenka this year and her baseline strength would help her to counter Krueger. Andreeva has posted a 8-3 record on clay this year and lost just two matchups in Roland Garros since making debut. Andreeva should take a revenge of her US Open loss and advance to next round.
