Mirra Andreeva vs. Hailey Baptiste Preview

Mirra Andreeva is chasing glories in her early age and the Russian ace reached the fourth round on debut in 2023. Her early success makes her a superior player. She has reached the multiple Slam quarterfinals and secured titles in Dubai and Indians Wells. She overcame the world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in the Indian Wells final so it proves why Andreeva is a big match player. She won her first two matches without dropping a set. She also reached the third round of the doubles event with her partner, Diana Shnaider seal following a 7-5, 6-3 win over Quinn Gleason and Ingrid Martins.

Hailey Baptiste is having her career-best season and reached the third round of the competition after convincing victories. She was down 2-5 against Mboko and dropped the opening set against Cirstea but still, managed to win the match. Baptiste has a struggle story with a 1-4 record against the top-10 players. Her only victory came against Krejcikova in 2024. Baptiste made into the fourth round of the Roland Garros this season which was her best run in any Grand Slam. Mirra Andreeva vs. Hailey Baptiste 2025 Wimbledon Prediction

Mirra Andreeva is more composed and strong player compared to Baptiste. Grass-court is not her favorite surface but she finds a way to make deep run in the big competitions. Hailey Baptiste will counter the Russian ace through aggressive forehands and long rallies. In her both games, the American ace was behind in the match but held nerves to cross the line. Andreeva’s defense and her first-serve rally can spoil Baptiste’ back-to-back chances of playing Slam 4th round.

Prediction: Mirra Andreeva to win in straight sets.
