The Minnesota Lynx will welcome the Indiana Fever on Sunday, August 28, at Target Center for a rematch of their previous meeting on Friday. Their previous meeting saw the Lynx defeating the Indiana Fever 95-90, and leveling their tally 1-1 in the 2025 WNBA season. Kayla McBride led the Lynx with 29 points, two rebounds, and six assists while Jessica Shepard dropped 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. Apart from them, Natisha Hiedeman poured in 17 points and two rebounds.

For the Fever, Kelsey Mitchell dropped 27 points and five assists while Lexie Hull chipped in 23 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Aliyah Boston contributed 15 points, six rebounds, and two assists. In the upcoming game, both Lynx and the Fever would aim to extend their dominance over their rivals. While the Lynx have already booked their berth in the playoffs, the Fever are in the sixth spot with a 19-17 tally, and cannot afford any more defeats if they wish to advance to the postseason.

The Minnesota Lynx have upgraded Napheesa Collier’s status and listed her as probable for the clash against the Fever on Sunday. She has been out of action after suffering a right ankle sprain in a win over the Las Vegas Aces on August 2.

After losing star players including Sydney Colson, Aari McDonald, and Sophie Cunningham to season-ending injuries, while having Caitlin Clark out for many games, they have two new additions to the injury report. Chloe Bibby has been listed out due to soreness in her left knee. She missed the previous encounter between both teams on Friday as well. Apart from her, Odyssey Sims has been listed as probable with the groin injury she sustained in the fourth quarter of the previous Lynx-Fever clash.
