Michael Misa has an older brother named Luke. Born in 2005, Luke is older by 2 years, and he is also a hockey player. Luke was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the fifth round of the 2024 NHL Draft, but he has yet to make his mark in the league.

Earlier this year, the older Misa brother announced his decision to play Division 1 hockey for Penn State University. For the past four seasons, Luke played for the Brampton Steelheads in the OHL.
