Manchester City have made the offer to Barcelona for the 17-year-old, who has impressed everyone this season with 13 goals and 19 assists across all competitions.
Despite his young age, Yamal has lit up La Liga, showing that he’s much more than just a rising talent. Known for his blistering speed and brilliant technical skills, Yamal has already become a key part of Hansi Flick’s plans at Barcelona.
Manchester City’s interest in Lamine Yamal doesn’t come as a surprise as Pep Guardiola has always had a soft spot for technically gifted players. If this deal goes through, City would smash the current transfer record set by Neymar’s €222 million move from Barcelona to PSG.
