The Minnesota Lynx continued their dominance at home and cruised past the Las Vegas Aces with a remarkable 109-78 victory. Following the win, the Lynx now remain undefeated at home with a staggering 14-0 tally and an overall record of 22-4 this WNBA season. The night saw Napheesa Collier and Courtney Williams combining for a total of 48 points. While Collier dropped 25 points, nine rebounds, and two assists, Williams came up with 23 points, three rebounds, and five assists.

Collier is now leading the league in 25-point games this season with 11, five more than the second spot. Apart from them, Bridget Carleton dropped 14 points and six rebounds, whereas Kayla McBride tallied 13 points, three rebounds, and three assists. In addition, Jessica Shephard recorded 10 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists.

Minnesota Lynx Continue Dominance at Home with Unbeaten Streak

The game that took place at the Target Center kicked off as a very close contest in the opening minutes. The Aces recorded a narrow two-point lead before the Lynx came up with a 15-4 run to close the quarter at 27-18. Nothing much changed for the remainder of the game, where scoring went back-and-forth for a few minutes. However, Minnesota came up with a large run and widened the gap between them and their rivals.

The Lynx won each quarter by seven or more points. After leading the opening quarter by nine points, they were 15 points ahead at 51-35 as the game headed into halftime. By the end of the third period, they were ahead by 24 points and were leading the charts by 31 points at the end of the game. As stated, Collier shone for her team as she shot 7/12 from the field, 1-of-2 from beyond the arc, and 10-of-13 from the free throw line.

The Aces, who slumped to their second loss in a row, displayed a below-par show. Only two of their players managed to finish in two-digit scores. A’ja Wilson led the charts with 15 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Jackie Young tallied 14 points, three rebounds, and five assists.
