Luis Enrique has etched his name into history after leading PSG to not only their maiden Champions League, but also their first treble. He became only the second coach to win the continental treble with two different clubs. He achieved this feat with FC Barcelona in 2015. Now he has replicated that success with Paris Saint-Germain in 2025.
This remarkable feat places Enrique alongside Pep Guardiola, who previously secured trebles with Barcelona and Manchester City. Enrique’s latest win certainly helps him prove his acumen outside of the Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar’s Barcelona. with whom he won the first treble.
In the 2024-25 season, under Enrique’s guidance, PSG clinched the Ligue 1 title, the Coupe de France. Then they went on to win their first-ever UEFA Champions League trophy. The crowning moment came with the UCL 2024-25 win.
With a record-breaking 5-0 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League final, PSG secured their first Champions League crown. Enrique’s achievement mirrors his 2015 success with Barcelona. There, he led the team to win in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League.

Domestically, PSG secured the Ligue 1 title with an unbeaten streak. The Coupe de France win further emphasized the team’s dominance across all competitions. Even though the starting of the year was shaky, Luis Enrique proved with a consistent performance which ultimately helped him win the treble.

Enrique’s first treble came during his debut season with Barcelona in 2014-15. The team clinched La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League, defeating Juventus 3-1 in the final.
