Bryce James recently won a CIF State Division 1 championship with Sierra Canyon.
LeBron James is already a superstar in the NBA, and his family is also stepping up slowly in basketball. After Bronny James, LeBron’s youngest son, Bryce, has also made progress and entered college basketball. The 17-year-old has committed to play for the University of Arizona next season.
On Thursday, Bryce officially became a member of the Arizona Wildcats, who compete in the Big 12 of NCAA Division I and are coached by Tommy Lloyd. “Bryce has officially signed,” Arizona Basketball captioned its post. LeBron James also reposted Arizona’s signing post on Instagram.

This season, LeBron James’ eldest son, Bronny James, was selected 55th overall in the 2024 NBA draft. The rookie player made his debut alongside his father in October 2024. Despite a disappointing run in the NBA, Bronny impressed in the G League, averaging 21.9 points, 5.4 assists and 5.2 rebounds a game while shooting 44% overall and 38% from 3-point range.
Bryce James can grow similarly like this, and will start his journey in a prestigious BIG 12 college. The 6-foot-6 guard will be eligible for the NBA draft next year. If LeBron plays two more years for the Lakers, we might see him playing alongside Bryce in future.
