LeBron James says playing with son Bronny in the NBA is his ‘No. 1 accomplishment’

Bronny James was picked by the Lakers in the 2nd round with the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft.

LeBron James recently opened up about playing alongside his son, Bronny, in the NBA. On the New Heights podcast with NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce, LeBron shared how special it was to share the court with Bronny and making history as the first father-son duo to play together in an NBA game.

“When it comes to the titles, that’s one separate thing,” he said. “But to be able to play in this league and also being able to do it alongside Bronny right now, that’s one of the biggest accomplishments and probably the No. 1 accomplishment I’ve ever been able to do.”

“To work with your son… they say it’s the greatest thing you could ever have”, he added.

“It is going to make him greater” – LeBron James on Bronny facing criticism

The 40-year-old also talked about the trolls and hate his son faces on social media and claimed that Bronny’s journey has been tougher because of it.

“I didn’t have to deal with the social-media trolls either, growing up,” LeBron said. “And I didn’t have to deal with my father being this fu**ing guy that’s on a pedestal.”

“I think it’s gonna make him to be even greater, because having to deal with all of the things that he’s dealing with and still being able to come back from a life-threatening situation and still have the motivation,” the 4-time MVP added.
