Laver Cup 2025 Prize Money – How Much Do the Winners & Runners-Up Pocket During Team Europe vs. Team World?

Sankalp Harikrishnan

Yannick Noah & Andre Agassi will lead the two teams this year.

The 2025 Laver Cup is set to be one of the most highly anticipated team events of the tennis calendar. With Team Europe featuring World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, three-time Grand Slam runner-up Alexander Zverev, reigning Barcelona Open champion Holger Rune and several others, the title-holders are ready to retain. However, the likes of World No. 5 Taylor Fritz, Brazilian prodigy Joao Fonseca and Australian speed machine Alex de Minaur will pose a worthy threat for Team World.

This will be the eighth edition of the Laver Cup – it is taking place between 19-21 September. The tournament is being staged at the Chase Center in San Francisco, USA, making it a home competition for Team World. In 2024, Carlos Alcaraz and co. managed to lift the coveted trophy over their shoulders by virtue of a 13-11 victory. However, the new year presents a world of new possibilities.

But how much do the players earn from the 2025 Laver Cup? Do they also receive ranking points for the same? Let’s find out.

Laver Cup 2025 – Prize Money and Ranking Points

There is a significant incentive for players during the course of the Laver Cup 2025. Each player receives an appearance fee for playing the tournament. The fee is determined based on rankings after the 2025 Roland Garros – which means Carlos Alcaraz will receive the highest amount, followed by Taylor Fritz, and so on. Apart from this, there is also a prize money involved.

All the members of the winning team will be awarded a mammoth $250,000 for their successful contribution. Unfortunately, the members of the losing team will not receive any prize money from the event. However, they will still walk away with the appearance fee.

Coming to the ranking points, the Laver Cup does not award any points to the players for participating. The wins and losses do not count towards points on the ATP Singles Ranking points table. However, the Laver Cup is a certified event on the ATP Tour calendar, and individual match results are recorded in the official player records. The match-ups are officiated by tour-level umpires and according to the regular rules and regulations.
