Following a disappointing 5-game road trip, the Lakers are back to their fortress to play the first of the three home games in the NBA. The Purple and Gold will meet the Philadelphia 76ers for the first time this season, eyeing a comeback win. On the other hand, the 76ers are seeking redemption on the road against the favourites.
The Lakers get a huge boost with the return of Anthony Davis who missed the previous game against the Grizzlies. He has been noted as probable for Friday’s encounter. Jaxson Haynes has also recovered from left knee soreness and is listed as probable. Rui Hachimura’s availability is questionable due to illness.
As far as their injury report goes, Jarred Vanderbilt and Christian Wood remain out due to foot and knee injuries respectively. Vando’s progress is slightly better but he still, has discomfort on his right foot.
