Kylian Mbappe bid farewell to his former club PSG as their highest goal scorer of all time in history in 2024. However, one thing that was missing from his career with Paris was the UEFA Champions League trophy. A year later, the French side managed to win their first-ever UCL Trophy as they beat Inter Milan 5-0 in Munich.

Since joining Real Madrid, Mbappe has flourished under the lights of Bernabeu with 38 goals in all competitions. The Real Madrid striker shared a heartfelt message congratulating PSG on their achievement on European stages.

“The Big Day Has Arrived” – Kylian Mbappe Sends His Message To PSG

Mbappe managed to play in the UCL 2020 Finals as they lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich. With the dream duo of Neymar and Mbappe at the time, that was the closest PSG had ever been to the UCL trophy till the 2024/25 season.

Congratulating PSG following their first UCL win, Mbappe posted a story on Instagram with the caption “The big day has finally arrived, super win and with the manner of the whole club. Congratulations to PSG”. The story had a picture of the UCL trophy with PSG colour ribbons on it as he shared the heartfelt message.

Mbappe despite his prolific season didn’t manage to win any silverware with Real Madrid in his debut year. With change around the Spanish Capital as Xabi Alonso takes over from Carlo Ancelotti, the Los Blancos and Mbappe will compete in the Club World Cup to change their season around with a jewel.

Mbappe is also PSG’s highest goal scorer in UCL with 42 goals. Ousmane Dembele who had a season of statements talking about Mbappe said: “Maybe with Mbappé we’d be even stronger this season, Mbappe had a dream in his career which is playing for Real Madrid, So PSG had to continue its path.”

Luis Enrique and PSG achieved one of the historic wins in the UCL. Desire Doue lit up the Allianz Arena as he put up a historic performance by scoring two goals and bagging an assist in the UCL finals.
