Both teams are 0-2, desperate to secure their first win of the 2025-26 NFL season. The Chiefs, led by Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are trying to grapple with offensive inconsistencies due to their key players missing games, while their defense has struggled to contain dynamic quarterbacks. The Giants, coming off an overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys, rely on Russell Wilson and WR Malik Nabers ti spark their offense.

The Chiefs have not won a single game ever since losing to the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. While there was a ton of hype surrounding a bounce-back season for them, so far they have not shown any of that. In fact, while we do not want to call it already, the way the Chiefs are playing, they may not make it to the Super Bowl this season, which is far fetched for now but who knows? The Bills are rolling, the Ravens are starting to pick up where they left off last season, the Chargers are red hot, and the Colts are surprising everyone so far.

With the Giants looking like a threat, after taking the Cowboys to OT, they certainly do have a chance to beat the Chiefs. The Chiefs will need to control Russell Wilson’s deep ball threats, in order to win this game, and if they can’t, we could be looking at the Chiefs going down 0-3 to their season which is highly unusual.
