Jordan Miller Returns to Clippers on Two-Way Contract Following Standout Las Vegas Summer League

The LA Clippers have re-signed Jordan Miller on a two-way contract, allowing further growth for their young G-League prospects. Miller was picked by the Clippers as 48th pick during the 2023 NBA Draft.

This decision follows the small forward’s stellar showing at the Las Vegas Summer League this offseason. He was also named to the Summer League All-star first team after averaging 22 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals across five games.

The 23-year-old displayed sharp shooting with 53 percent accuracy from the field and 38.5 percent beyond the arc. Jordan Miller was initially waived by the Clippers’ front office this offseason.

However, his standout Summer League outings convinced the Clippers to bring him back for another stint. Miller played 37 games for LA last season and averaged 4.1 points, 1.6 assists. This two-way deal ensures Miller splits time between the NBA and G-League, gaining both experience and development.

Cap Flexibility Opens Major 2027 Plans

The Clippers’ front office has remained proactive throughout this offseason, reshaping the roster on key fronts. They have made some crucial moves that have alleviated their side for the short term. Adding Bradley Beal was one such move.

Having multiple short term contracts have also put the Clippers in the driver’s seat to add a superstar name in the upcoming seasons. According to reports, the LAC front office is moving strategically to have cap space for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

While Giannis and the Bucks appear aligned for now, many insiders believe it’s a fragile truce. The Greek Freak will likely see till his current contract if the Bucks is a right place to spend his prime years. It all depends on the Milwaukee front office, if they manage to make the roster competitive.

LA Clippers are moving to try their chance to bring Giannis Antetokounmpo in the 2027 offseason on a free agency. This would be the worst case scenario for the Bucks.
