Jihaad Campbell’s Physical Attributes Ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft

Jihaad Campbell is one of the most elite outside linebacker in the 2025 NFL Draft class. He spent all three of his collegiate football seasons playing for the Alabama Crimson Tide, and was a five-star recruit coming out of high school. In his true freshman season, Campbell earned time on special teams, while also working as a linebacker for the team. He finished his season with a single tackle on nine games played during his rookie season. The following season in 2023, his sophomore year, Campbell played 13 games, while starting for 8, and finished the season with 66 tackles, half a sack, and 4 tackles for loss. In his final season playing for the Crimson tide, Campbell had his breakout year as he racked up a whopping 117 combined tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery.

For his efforts in the 2024 season, Campbell was named a semifinalist for the Bednarik award, which is handed out to the top defender in college football, he was named a semifinalist for the Butkus award, and was named First-team All-SEC. He has the perfect build for the NFL and is highly confident that he can dominate in the next level.

Campbell posted a broad jump of 10’ 7’’, which is above average but not elite. It indicates that Campbell has strong lower-body explosiveness, beneficial for tackling and pass-rushing, but it falls just a little short of the elite tier.
