Jannik Sinner was questioned after a shaky gameplay against Dimitrov where the Bulgarian ace retired due to injury. The world No. 1 dispatched Shelton in straight sets to reach fourth consecutive Grand Slam semifinals and he didn’t lose the previous three which makes him favorite. Sinner dropped two sets throughout the competition and both were against Dimitrov. Injury also impacted his performance in the fourth round but he cleared all the questions with a dominating show in quarterfinals. He is facing Djokovic in a Grand Slam semifinals from last three years and won previous two. However, the only loss came in the Wimbledon which is a fortress of the Serbian superstar.

The battle between Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic would surely be a classic one. The Serbian ace has dominated the grass-court in last one decade and he has overcame the Italian ace in 2023 semifinals. Djokovic has proved that he is still the man to beat for the younger generation. Sinner will counter the former No. 1 with his aggressive baseline and hard-hitting serves. Sinner’s groundstroke strength is his two-handed-backhand and it can disturb Djokovic’s momentum.
Prediction: Sinner to win in four sets.
The betting odds are heavily tilted towards Jannik Sinner considering his current Grand Slam run. It would surely be a challenging game against Djokovic but the Italian ace has found the way to crack the code. At 1/2, the world No. 1 is the overwhelming favorite and Djokovic at 9/5 offers a huge challenge considering the Wimbledon record. Still, odds back Jannik Sinner to prevail.
