Luca Nardi has not registered a tour-level main draw victory since the beginning of May. The Italian has gone 0-1 in the grass court season so far – losing in the qualifiers at Eastbourne. He won 63% points on first serve and failed to convert any of the break points he earned. Ranked No. 95 in the world, Nardi’s standout phase of 2025 was the Middle Eastern swing – he reached the R16 in Doha and QF in Dubai from qualifying.

The moment of fame for Nardi came in 2024, when he beat then World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in Round-3 of Indian Wells. He became the lowest ranked player to defeat the Serbian at a Masters-1000 in the process. As a result, the 21-year-old will back himself to beat another top gun before entering Centre Court on Tuesday.
