Joe Burrow is arguably a top 5 quarterback in the modern NFL. He is coming off of a great season in 2024 where he threw for 4918 passing yards, 43 passing touchdowns, and a pass completion rate of 70.6, which are all career highs. Unfortunately that wasn’t nearly enough to get him in the playoffs because of which he may not have won the MVP award. Nevertheless, the greatness of Burrow cannot be denied.

Burrow is one of the only three quarterbacks in the NFL, who’s beaten Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs. He’s been to the Super Bowl once and has been named to the Pro-Bowl twice in his career.

Apart from his game, Joe Burrow is also known for his blunt humor which he’s shown at times. So today we take a stroll down the memory lane and see what he tweeted five years ago!

It’s been five years since Burrow tweeted about his hand size measurement at the 2020 NFL combine

5 years ago, when Burrow was in the NFL Combine, he sent out a funny tweet regarding his hand size. Apart from a player’s speed, vertical jump, and various other measurements, hand sizes are also taken into factor in the NFL Combine. Burrow had tweeted “Considering retirement after I was informed the football will be slipping out of my tiny hands.”

Well it’s been five years since and his hand size doesn’t seem to bother his performance at all. Small hands or not, if you can throw the football like Joe Burrow, any team would happily draft a player with small hands.

The only thing that Joe Burrow needs, is a strong defense from the Bengals’ defensive line, and those same tiny hands could be lifting the Lombardy trophy someday. Regardless, Burrow is one of the best players in the NFL today and it seems like he turned out just fine.
