Lamar Jackson will be back for the Ravens after missing three games due to a hamstring injury
Tonight is the first game of Week 9 in the NFL’s 2025-26 regular season as the Baltimore Ravens take on the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football (TNF). The Ravens are coming into this game with a 2-5 record through 8 weeks of football, whereas the Dolphins are 2-6.
This is a crucial game for both teams, as a loss tonight is most likely to end postseason hopes for either team. Baltimore, in particular, will be eyeing a win to get their season back on track, as it still has a good chance of making the playoffs if it goes on a winning run in the upcoming games.

As per the Ravens’ injury report, Lamar Jackson was listed as a full participant during all three practice sessions earlier this week. That means he should be back on the field under center, commanding the offense tonight against the Dolphins.
Jackson has already missed 3 games for the Ravens this season due to a hamstring injury, which he suffered in the Week 4 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Unable to finish that game, he was replaced by backup quarterback Cooper Rush, who also went on to start the next two games for Baltimore.
But after losing all his games, Baltimore decided to roll with Tyler Huntley, who guided the team to a win over the Bears last week. Now, Jackson will have to continue the stellar quality of play he showcased prior to his injury if the Ravens are to keep their hopes alive for postseason qualification.

To begin the season, despite struggling with a 1-3 record, Lamar Jackson was playing MVP-level football. While the Ravens’ defense was the main reason behind the losses, Jackson’s play on the offensive side of the ball was of high quality.
In his 4 games this season, Jackson has completed 71.6% of his passes, throwing for 869 yards and has 10touchdowns against just 1 interception. He also has an incredible passer rating of 130.5.
Jackson’s presence under center will be a huge boost for the Ravens, who are 7.5-point favorites in tonight’s matchup against Miami.
