Dallas Goedert, tight end for the Philadelphia Eagles, has been extremely consistent for his team and has spent all his years playing for the Eagles. He was drafted by the Eagles in 2018 and spent 7 seasons in the team. Goedert was not named a full-time starter until 2021 and he spent three seasons playing as a backup tight end. After the Eagles got rid of Zach Ertz, who was the TE1 for the Eagles, Goedert finally got his chance.
Goedert has had a decent playing career so far. He had his best seasons statistically in 2021 where he posted 830 receiving yards, caught 56 passes, and had 4 receiving touchdowns. Meanwhile in the 2024 playoffs, Goedert has played in both the games and is having a decent run with 103 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 8 receptions caught thus far.
Goedert’s biggest downside is his availability for the games. Every season, Goedert constantly struggles with injuries and this might have contributed to why he hasn’t had a breakout season yet. Even in 2024, Goedert only injured himself going against the Cleveland Browns in week 6. His injury made him miss three games and Goedert was out, yet again, due to an injury sustained in Week 13 of the regular season.

Now that the Commanders are playing the Eagles on friday, Goedert’s presence on the field is important. So will he be playing tonight? Let’s find out.
Eagles fans can breath easy as the tight end Dallas Goedert will play against the Commanders in the NFC Championship round. Goedert was suffering from an ankle injury and had missed both days of practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

There are quite a lot of injuries sustained through all the 4 teams remaining in the playoffs. The Eagles also had Jalen Hurts questionable but he’s announced that he’ll play. With all the injuries, we can only hope that his doesn’t affect any of the players going forward.
The Eagles will take on the Commanders at the Lincoln Financial Field. It will kick-off at 3:00pm EST/12:00pm PT.

mma I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
