The aim for Inter for the 2025-26 season is quite clear. The Nerazzurri will want a complete revival and redemption. The Milan giants failed to secure the Serie A title and were humiliated in the UEFA Champions League finals by PSG. The Serie A title went to Napoli, and the blue side of Milan will be desperate to regain its lost crown.

The club went trophyless last season. Thus will be aiming for major silverware under new manager Cristian Chivu. Inter’s disastrous season ended with a 5-0 drubbing by PSG and manager Simone Inzaghi mutually parting ways with the club. But now, the stage is set for a fresh start, and the team is looking to handle the transition well.

New Signings and Team Updates

The Nerazzurri have been quite active in the summer transfer window of 2025-26. They have already roped in 4 players and have let go of players who no longer fit their plan. The club bought Croatian midfielder Petar Sucic from Dinamo Zagreb. On the other hand, the hype is good around Brazilian winger Luis Henrique.

The loan move of Nicola Zalewski has also been made permanent as the player departs Roma. Meanwhile, the firepower in the attacking front has been further bolstered with the addition of young French striker Ange-Yoan Bonny. He cost the Nerazzurri €23 million plus bonuses.

New manager Chivu has inherited a squad that is blended well with youth and experienced players. This will be something that every manager hopes for in their new club. Inter will kick-start their Serie A campaign against Monza on 25th August.

The job is pretty simple – these testing times will showcase how Inter can forget their past season and come out with strong and renewed hopes. The club will also be under the microscope to see how they fare against the Scudetto-winning Napoli side. They too have made great additions to their squad.
