On Saturday, July 5, the Indiana Fever (9-8) will host the Los Angeles Sparks (5-13) in a WNBA regular-season matchup. The Fever will enter the game after a riveting 81-54 win against the Las Vegas Aces, as Kelsey Mitchell poured in 25 points.

Meanwhile, the Sparks suffered a 79-89 loss against the New York Liberty despite 25 points by Dearica Hamby. Can the Fever continue their good form against the vulnerable Sparks? Go through the predictions related to player props, total, and spread here.

Where to Watch Indiana Fever vs Los Angeles Sparks

  • Time: 7:00 PM (ET)
  • Venue: Gainbridge Fieldhouse(Indianapolis, Indiana)
  • Where to watch: This game can be viewed on the WNBA League Pass.

Indiana Fever vs Los Angeles Sparks Total Over/Under Prediction- WNBA Best Bets

The Fever has limited two straight opponents to fewer than 60 points. One of these opponents was the formidable Minnesota Lynx.

Thus, their defense is singing a brilliant tune. On the other hand, the Sparks constantly give up around 90 points and have one of the worst defenses in the league.

Meanwhile, they struggle to score over 80 themselves while Fever can do so at a high clip. Anyway, I see the Indiana defense losing its grip just a little here, paving the way for a high-scorer.

Total: Over 162.5 for -110 at BetMGM

Here are my overall selections for the game

Total O 162.5-110
Money Line- Fever-300
Spread- Fever -6.5-120

Indiana Fever vs Los Angeles Sparks Player Props Predictions- WNBA Betting Picks

Kelsey Mitchell O 21.5 points: Mitchell has carried the Fever team wonderfully in the absence of Caitlin Clark. She is averaging 19.3 PPG this season, and the All-Star has scored 20 in each of the last five regular-season games.

Thus, she can easily cross 21 against a vulnerable Sparks defense. This pick is my #1 preference.

Aliyah Boston O 8.5 rebounds:  Boston is pulling down 8.1 rebounds per game this season, which is in line with her previous two seasons. She has collected 9 or more rebounds in six of the last nine games, so I back her to notch at least 10 boards here.

This pick is #2 in my preference.

Azura Stevens O 1.5 three-pointers: Stevens has tallied a career-high 1.6 triples per game this season. She has knocked at least two in eight of the 18 games. I’m backing her to nail two here as well.

This pick is #3 in my preference.

Main pick: Kelsey Mitchell Over 20.5 for +100 points at BetMGM

Indiana Fever vs Los Angeles Sparks Spread Prediction

The Fever have won three in a row for the first time this season. Their confidence will be sky-high after accomplishing it without their superstar, Caitlin Clark. On the other hand, the Sparks have been struggling throughout the season.

They have lost six of their last seven games and have yet to win two in a row. Thus, Indiana will be heavy favorites at home against the most vulnerable squad right now, apart from the Connecticut Sun. I expect the Fever to cover the spread.

Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
